The founder of The Minnick Law Firm, Bruce Alexander Minnick, is a recognized legal expert in Labor and Employment Law and has been certified as an expert by The Florida Bar. Bruce Minnick has been involved heavily in the litigation and appeals of labor and employment law and related civil rights claims since 1981 when he was appointed to the position of assistant attorney general for the State of Florida.

Bruce Alexander Minnick earned his undergraduate degree in Finance with Honors from the College of Business at Florida State University in 1971. He returned to south Florida, where he went into commercial banking, and became an assistant vice president and assistant comptroller in a large commercial bank in downtown Miami until returning to Tallahassee for law school.
While attending law school at Florida State University, Bruce was appointed to the position of Staff Director of the Florida House Committee on Rules & Calendar, by then Speaker of The House of Representatives, the Honorable Donald L. Tucker. Bruce graduated from Florida State University College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1978. Bruce has since enjoyed many years of extensive hands-on experience establishing and operating many small businesses, including two successful law firms. Bruce Minnick is also presently involved in the operations of several other successful small businesses that he established in Tallahassee, and also counsels and advises the owners of many other small businesses.
